Abstract

Architectural education meets with students with many new techniques and methods to define and experience the space within years. Realistic approaches to address the vital and sensory dimension of the space are moving towards virtual reality through the development of technology. This study aims to use the collage technique, which is frequently used in art and conceptual design, as a representation technique that corresponds to spatial perception, and should be frequently included in architectural education. The aim of the study is to emphasize the importance of collage as a technique to perceive space with the senses. Seeing, touching, tasting, smelling and hearing the collage technique that stimulates the senses that the hypothesis. It will be examined through the sensory collage project named “Details of the House “exhibited under the “IV. Istanbul Design Biennial- a School of Schools” at activities.
