Abstract
Durum çalışması desenine sahip bu araştırma bir özel okuldaki okul yöneticisi, öğretmen, öğrenci ve velilerin Maker Eğitimi ile ilgili algılarını ve kazanımlarını incelemek için yapılmış nitel bir çalışmadır. Bu araştırmanın amacı; bir özel okuldaki okul yöneticisi, öğretmen, öğrenci ve velilerin Maker Eğitimine ilişkin görüşlerini incelemektedir. Katılımcı grubu olarak okul yöneticisi, öğretmen, öğrenci ve veliler belirlenmiş olup, veri toplamak için bu gruplar ile derinlemesine görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Veri analiz yöntemi olarak içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama sürecinden sonra oluşan kodlar düzenlenerek temalar araştırma sorularının etrafında şekillenmiştir. Yapılan analiz sonucunda Maker eğitiminin katılımcı grupları üzerinde birbirine yakın algılar oluşturduğu, fenomenle ilgili kavram bütünlüğünün ve farkındalığının kısmen sağlandığı görülmüştür. Maker eğitimi ile ilgili değerlendirmelerin yapılarak çalışmaların başladığı ve belirli yatırımlar yapıldığı görülmüştür. Yeni müfredat ve eğitmen eğitimlerine ihtiyaç duyulduğu, Maker ders saatlerinin artması gerektiği ve beklenilen becerilerin öğrenciye kazandırıldığı sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. This research, which has a case study design, is a qualitative study conducted to examine the perceptions and attainments of school administrators, teachers, students and parents about Maker Education in a private school. The purpose of this research; examines the views of school administrators, teachers, students and parents in a private school on Maker Education. School administrators, teachers, students and parents were determined as the participant group, and in-depth interviews were made with these groups to collect data. Content analysis was used as a data analysis method. The themes were shaped around the research questions by arranging the codes formed after the data collection process. As a result of the analysis, it was seen that the Maker training created close perceptions on the participant groups, and the conceptual integrity and awareness of the phenomenon was partially achieved. It has been observed that evaluations on Maker training have started, studies have started and certain investments have been made. It was concluded that there was a need for new curriculum and instructor training, the number of Maker lesson hours should be increased, and the expected skills were acquired by the student.
