Abstract

The fact of colour which frames our life as a whole can be qualified as a physical reality a social cultural and contextual element and a communation system. This approach ascribes symbolic meanings to the colour in the process of perception. Colour indicator as a medium of giving meaning to the external reality will be analysed in the context of the film ‘’Elephants and Grass’’ on the basis of the basic concepts of linguistics and semiotics.
