Abstract

The aim of this Project is to analyse the effects of inlation to income distribution, to associate the different economical stages and inflation rates in Turkish economy with income distribution in Turkey. In the first section the concept of inflation, income distribution and the importance of income distribution to the science of economy will be discussed. In the second section inflation and income distribution between 1980 ? 2000 in Turkish economy will be discussed in two different time zones. In the first part liberilization and inflation policies between 1980 ? 1990 will be given. In the second part economical development and its effects to income distribution between 1990 ? 2000 will be discussed. In the third part inflation and income distribution in Turkey after 2000 will be commented. Especially 2001 crisis and its effect to income distribution and restructuring movements ill be discussed.
