Publication Metadata only Academic Achievement Meassurement Based On Personality(Stef92 Technology Ltd, 1 Andrey Lyapchev Blvd, Sofia, 1797, Bulgaria, 2012) Hünerli, Selçuk; 4743As it is well-known, students' academic achievement and students' personally types are very important regarding of the effectiveness of academic programs. This research aims at clarifying the relation between students' personality types and their academic performance. The research has been conducted on 252 students attending at School of Vocational Studies. According to the research findings, there are strong relationships between students' personality types and their academic achievement. Based on The Five Factor Model, Inventory is an evaluation tool which is improved according to the Turkish culture. Validity and reliability analysis (dimensional self consistency cofactors vary between 0,75 and 0,81; test repeat cofactors vary between 0,78 and 0,86) show that inventory consists strong psychometric features. That is why participation in the European Higher Education on Bologna Process provides one of the important stimuli for change in Turkish Universities like many European countries which are currently the members of European Higher Education System. The European credit transfer system for VET (ECVET) in order to allow learners to build on the achievements resulting from their learning pathways when moving between learning systems. ECVET will be based on competences and learning outcomes, taking account of their definition at national or sectoral levels. It will take into account the experience of the ECTS in the field of higher education and the Europass framework. Some principles of a accreditation system for vocational studies are presented, together with consequences for Bologna criteria and procedures. The research seeks to define educational performance by considering multidimensional nature of creativity. This research aimed at exploring the relationship between self-esteem and academic performance by using creativity inventory. To this end, a research has been conducted on the students of vocational studies (n=312) in Istanbul. According to the results, a weak relationship (r<0,42) was revealed between creativity and academic performance.
