Toplam Kalite Yönetiminde İnovasyon ve Sektör Analizi: Tıbbi Cihaz Sektörü

Abstract

Throughout the history of humanity, it has been important to produce quality products and services, and customer satisfaction in all fields, from agriculture to industry, from the construction sector to health. Today, with the globalization created by the developing technology, it has become more important for businesses to survive, to grow by providing competitive advantage and to increase their efficiency. After the Second World War, it was revealed that the way for businesses to increase productivity by providing competitive advantage would be provided by the quality management system and its applications were developed. In this study, the effect of quality management systems on innovation practices of companies operating in the medical device sector in Turkey was investigated. In the research, a questionnaire formed with a 5-point Likert scale was used, and businesses in the medical device sector were sent via e-mail and asked to respond. The collected questionnaires were transferred to the SPSS program (version 29) and detailed analyzes and evaluations were made. In this way, the level of the effect of the quality management system on innovation, which is the main goal of the research, has been tried to be found statistically.
