Sürdürülebilirlik kavramının mekansal ölçü parametrelerine etkisi; Sürdürülebilir yeşil otel örneklemesi

Abstract

Endüstrideki gelişmeler fosil yakıtların tüketiminde ve kontrolsüz nüfusta artışlara neden olmuştur. Buna bağlı olarak düzensiz yapılaşma ve çevre kirliliği de ekosistemin bozulmasını arttırmıştır. Bu bağlamda sürdürülebilirlik kavramı günümüzde özellikle yapı ve turizm sektöründe yeşil konut ve otellerin yapımına etken olmuştur. Bu anlayışın yaygınlaşması sonucunda sürdürülebilirliğin mekansal kalitesi uluslararası düzeyde LEED sertifika sistemi ile ölçülmektedir. Çalışmanın giriş bölümünde araştırma konusunu ele alış şekli, amacı, kapsamı ve izlenmesi gereken yöntemlerden bahsedilmiştir. Daha sonra sürdürülebilirlik düşünce hareketinden doğan kavramlar, sürdürülebilir kalkınma, destinasyon, turizm arasındaki ilişki araştırılmıştır. Ardından, sürdürülebilir mimarlık ilkeleri ile genel bir çerçeve oluşturulmuştur. Daha sonra farklı düşüncelerin yer ve mekan tanımları, sürdürülebilir mimaride mekan modelleri kent ve otel ölçeğinde açıklanmıştır. Gelecekteki ekosistemin bir parçası olan yeni nesil sürdürülebilir yeşil otel kavramı üzerinde durularak uluslararası sertifika sistemleri anlatılmıştır. LEED V4 ölçüt çeşitleri ve LEED V4 BD+C sertifikasyon proje aşaması yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın son bölümüde Türkiye'den bazı sürdürülebilir yeşil otel LEED proje uygulamaları üzerinden kriterler, puanlar, derecesi ve başarı durumu açısından karşılaştırmalar yapılarak değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır. Yeni bina kategorisinde LEED Gold sertifikası almış farklı yapı örneklerinden Boğaz manzaralı şehir otelciliğini ön plana çıkaran Renaissance İstanbul Polat Bosphorus Otel, tatil turizm alanında deniz kıyısına kurulan Mandarin Oriental Bodrum Otel, modern yapısıyla kentin ortasında yer alan Dedeman Park Levent Otel, Gebze sanayi bölgesinde yol kenarına konumlanan Workinn Otel sürdürülebilir tasarım yaklaşımları analiz edilerek elde edilen bulgular eleştirel bir bakış açısıyla yorumlanmıştır. Tez çalışmasının sonunda ise, sürdürülebilir yeşil otel tasarımında LEED sertifika ölçütleri dikkate alınması neticesinde sağlıklı mekanlar oluşturulduğu görülmüştür. Etkin sürdürülebilir proje tasarım sürecinde LEED gereksinimlerini yerine getirebilen uzman bir ekip tarafından yönetilmesinin önemi anlaşılmıştır. Bu olgunun disiplinler arası hareket edilerek geliştirilmesi gereken dinamik bir ortam olduğu ve tasarımcıların farklı bir perspektiften bakması gerektiği düşünülerek çalışmalara yön vermek amacı ile proje hazırlanmıştır.

The developments in the industry, have increased the consumption of fossil fuels and the noncontrolled population. Consequently, irregular construction and environmental pollution have also increased the corruption of the ecosystem. In this context, the concept of sustainability has been a factor in the construction of green housing and hotels, especially in the construction and tourism sectors. As a result of this understanding, the spatial quality of sustainability is measured at international level with the LEED certification system. In the first part of the study, the aim, scope and methods of the research subject are mentioned. Then, the relationship between concepts, development, goal and tourism arising from sustainability thinking movements was investigated. Then, the place and space definitions of different ideas, models of space in sustainable architecture, urban and hotel scale are explained. The concept of new generation sustainable green hotel which is a part of the future ecosystem in emphasized and international certificate systems are explained. LEED V4 criteria types and LEED V4 BD+C certification project phase were interpreted. In the last part of the study, some of the sustainable green hotel criteria through LEED project implementation in Turkey, scores, rating and making comparisons in terms of achievement assessments were carried out. Renaissance İstanbul Polat Bosphorus Hotel, which stands out from the examples of different bıildings that have received LEED Gold certificate in the new building category offering city hotel views to Bosphorus, Mandarin Oriental Bodrum Hotel, restablished by the see in the field of holiday tourism, Park Dedeman Levent Hotel located in the middle of the city with its modern structure and Workinn Hotel located on the roadside in the industrial zone of Gebze, were examined in terms of environmental sustainable design approaches and the findings were interpreted with a critical point of view. At the end in this stady, it was observed that healthy spaces were created as a result of LEED certification criteria in sustainable green hotel design. The impordance of managing by an expert team capable of meeting the LEED requirenments is recognized in the efficient sustainable project design process. This project has been prepared with the aim of guiding the studies by considering this phenomenon is a dynamic environment of which needs to be develeped by acting interdisciplinary systems and designers should look from a different perspective.
