Linux/Unix Üzerinde Çalışan Özgür Astronomi Yazılımlarının Sınıflandırılması ve Analizi

Abstract

Free sofware is that whose users have freedom to run it, to study how it Works and adapt it to his/her needs, to redistribute its copies, to improve it and share the improvements with public. Hence, the source code of such a software have to be open to public by definition. This study aims to classify the free astronomy softwares programmed to be run on computers with Linux or Unix operating systems, to define quantitatve rating criteria for such software, to analyze them according to the rating criteia defined and share the results of cuch an analysis. The criteia for classification and selection of the softwares were defined and discussed seperately.
