Abstract

In this study named ?Stage Arts Administration and Effective Communication?, arts administration was discussed under the light of communication science and effective communication methods by focusing on the Management System of stage arts. In the introduction part of the study, the importance of Arts Administration and the relationship between communication and arts administration was given, and effective communication skills that the arts administrator has to possess were stated. In the first chapter, the concept of communication within the framework of effective communication process and its functions; the actors in the communication process, their functions and different types of communication were provided. In addition, the role of communication in interpersonal relationships was dealt here. In the second chapter, the concept of arts, the elements of arts and stage arts were analyzed in detail. In the third chapter, the concept of arts administrator and the communication between arts administrator-artist-audience was discussed. Also, here the management system of arts, arts marketing and the function of the state in arts administration was given. In the conclusion part of the study, some assessments were made relating the relationship between arts, the administration science and communication, and relating the profile of arts administrator.
