Mimarlık Lisans Programlarında Yapım Yönetimi Eğitiminin Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Yapım eyleminin var oluşuyla gelişen yapım yönetimi kavramı, inşaat sektörünün hızla büyümesiyle, günümüz koşullarında ihtiyaç haline gelmektedir. Dolayısıyla yapım yönetimi eğitimi de güncel konular arasında yerini almaktadır. Türkiye'de yapım yönetimi eğitimi genellikle Mimarlık ve İnşaat Mühendisliği programları altında lisans seviyesinde çeşitli derslerle veya lisans üstü seviyesinde "yapım yönetimi", "proje yönetimi", proje ve yapım yönetimi" vb. program başlıkları altında, alanda uzmanlaşmak için verilmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye'deki Mimarlık Programlarında lisans düzeyinde verilen yapım yönetimi eğitimini değerlendirmek ve güncel durumunu sergilemektir. Bu bağlamda Türkiye'deki bütün üniversiteler araştırma kapsamına dahil edilmiştir. Çalışmanın birinci bölümünde yapım yönetimi kavramına değinildikten sonra ikinci bölümde yapım yönetimi alanının kapsadığı konuları belirlemek amacıyla literatür araştırması yapılmıştır. Üçüncü bölümde, Mimarlık lisans programlarındaki yapım yönetimi içeriklerinin değerlendirilmesi için yöntem olarak seçilen İçerik Analizi Yöntemi hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde araştırma konusu olan Türkiye'deki Mimarlık lisans programlarının, üniversite kontenjanları, bulundukları bölgeler, eğitim dilleri ve yapım yönetimine ait verdikleri dersler, ders saatleri, AKTS kredileri, derslerin içerikleri detaylı şekilde incelenmiştir ve Türkiye'deki Mimarlık lisans programlarının yapım yönetimine ilişkin zorunlu dersleri, içerik analizi yönteminden faydalanılarak değerlendirilmiştir. Yapılan çalışma sonucunda, Türkiye'deki yapım yönetimi eğitiminin güncel durumu ortaya konulmuştur. Son bölümde ise bulgular ışığında yapım yönetimi eğitiminin iyileştirilmesine yönelik öneriler sunulmuştur.

The concept of construction management, which becomes a necessity in today's conditions, with the rapid growth of the construction industry. Therefore, construction management education is among the current topics. Construction Management education in Turkey is usually studied within undergraduate and graduate courses in Architecture and Civil Engineering or it is studied at graduate level as "construction management", "project management", "project and construction management" etc. to specialize in that field. Aim of this study at the undergraduate level in the Architecture Program in Turkey is to assess the construction management education and to display the current status. In this context, all the universities in Turkey are included in the study. In the first chapter of the study; the concept of construction management is mentioned, then after this, in the second chapter; a literature survey was conducted to determine the issues covered by the field of construction management. In the third chapter, information about the content analysis method selected as a method for evaluation of construction management contents in the architectural undergraduate programs. In the fourth chapter; universities' capacities, their locations, education language and the courses they give about construction management, course hours, ECTS credits, course contents of Architectural degree programs in Turkey have been studied in detail, which is the key research subject of this study, and also the required courses for the construction management of Architecture degree program in Turkey is evaluated utilizing content analysis method. As a result, the current status of construction management education in Turkey is demonstrated and revealed. In the final chapter, suggestions were made for construction management education to improve it for the future.
