Türkiye Türkçesinde ki'li birleşik cümle üzerine bir inceleme

Abstract

The subject of this study is on searching in which function and meaning compound sentence structure with ?ki? was used in Turkish novels between 1922-1996 determined by us. Before starting the principal part forming the main topic of our thesis, a sentence that words which are the main materials constitute by coming together systematically has been tried to explain and comprehend with its all features. It has been utilized from the books written on Turkish grammar, the view of the linguists, definitions and sentence classifications by Turkish grammarian have been studied and the similar and different aspects in these classifications have been introduced. Compound sentence structure that compound sentence with ?ki?was included in has been considered ( questioned) and what sort of description and classification a compound sentence was put through by grammarians has been determined and the historical process of this sentence structure has been tried to understand. The usage, function and meaning characteristics successively in Karahanlı, Harezm, Çağatay, Ottoman and Farsi (Persian) languages of this structure that got into the language through the translation functions in Uygurs period have been studied. The historic progress of this sentence structure was taken from the 8th century and brought up to the 19th century. After forming the basic ground of our thesis in that way, the ways Turkish grammar evaluated compound sentence with ?ki? has been discussed and subjected to a classification in themselves. From this point, a data base has been constituted collecting compound sentences with ?ki? in 20th century Turkish novels ; the sentences have been separated into specific sections in the light of the evaluations of function and meaning and classifications that were done before. Parallelism has been established with the use features through centuries of sentence determined. In addition, the differences have been tried to introduced.
