Abstract

To depict the semiotical value of pomegranete as a phytoseeme and to expelicate the sing of pomegranete on various conceptual levels, in other words analyse the plant’ language and discourse consituted the primary aim of this work. Thedisclosure of the discourse of the pomegranate led us to the biosemiotics which combines biology, linguistics and the science of communications. Our methodological way dividing the meaning of pomegranate into various stages was formed in connection wiht phytosemiotics which is asub-field of biosemiotics. İt has been observed that the pomegranate has become prevalent in social life, social understanding and sense.
