Eğlence Sektörünün Ülke Ekonomisindeki Yeri: Bir Uygulama Örneği, Müzikaller

Abstract

The purpose of this study is analyzing the historical development of playentertainment, entertainment concept with starting play-entertainment and economical functions of musical concept which is one of the entertainment types. In the introductory chapter, the aim and context of the study is defined. Also analyzing of relation between entertainment concept and communication and culture concepts. First chapter deals with the position of play-entertainment role in communication strategies and the meanings of play and entertainment concepts in communication process. Second chapter deals with analyzing the development of entertainment concept, comparing of entertainment concept between Ottoman period and Republic period, explaination of musical concept which is one of the entertainment types and analyzing the development of it. Third Chapter deals with relationship between entertainment concept and economy, Entertainment sector in Turkey and dimensions of entertainment concept which is new consuption strategy, place of musicals in the economy will be discussed. The final chapter attempts to evaluate the effects of entertainment concepts to life and economy
