dc.description.abstractPatient rights, foreseen as personal rights, constitute a very important matter which has to be enacted in Turkish Legal System. The Regulation of Patient Rights arranged in light of international declarations submits a lot of solutions about the disputes between the patient and the doctor, the doctor and the hospital. We set off one more time the place and the importance of the patient rights in the Turkish Legal System with the present study. It can not be disregarded that the patients have rights and these rights are protected by the Constitution of Turkey. It is even specified in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights that nobody?s body can be touched out of his own consent and this right is nonassignable. The present study is prepared in light of this declaration. In many parts of the study, we mentioned the international declarations and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. In this way, we tried to enlighten the subject.
