During the bilingual collaborative teaching, each 1st grade class is staffed by two Turkish native teachers, a monolingual Turkish class teacher and a bilingual English language (L2) teacher, and the medium of instruction is both in the native language, Turkish, and the international language, English. In this study, qualitative research method was used and the data was collected by means of semi structured interviews with 4 administrators and 12 teachers and observations conducted in two classes where co-teaching bilingual education was operated. The data was analysed by means of inductive analysis, a bottom up approach. The analysis of the data revealed out information about the implementation of the programme and the teachers' practises based on different co-teaching roles, administrators and teachers' perceptions including the benefits of the collaborative bilingual education and the challenges faced in this programme and the future actions need to be taken for a successful bilingual education based on collaboration. Thus, the findings were categorized under three main themes: 1) Implementing Collaborative Bilingual Programme and Classroom Practices, 2) Administrators and Teachers' Perceptions, and 3) Future Actions (Actions Need to be Taken).Publication Cumhuriyet Dönemi Romanlarında Osmanlıdan Cumhuriyete Toplumsal Değişim ve Mahremiyetin Dönüşümü(Ege Üniversitesi Yayınları, 2015) Akyol Aycan, Gizem; 113299Item Detecting Phishing Websites Using Machine Learning(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2022) ALREFAAI, SAFA; ÖZDEMİR, GHINA; MOHAMED, AFNANPhishing, a cybercriminal's attempted attack, is a social web-engineering attack in which valuable data or personal information might be stolen from either email addresses or websites. There are many methods available to detect phishing, but new ones are being introduced in an attempt to increase detection accuracy and decrease phishing websites ' success to steal information. Phishing is generally detected using Machine Learning methods with different kinds of algorithms. In this study, our aim is to use Machine Learning to detect phishing websites. We used the data from Kaggle consisting of 86 features and 11,430 total URLs, half of them are phishing and half of them are legitimate. We trained our data using Decision Tree (DT), Random Forest (RF), XGBoost, Multilayer Perceptrons, K-Nearest Neighbors, Naive Bayes, AdaBoost, and Gradient Boosting and reached the highest accuracy of 96.6using X G Boost. © 2022 IEEE.Publication Increased Femoral Anteversion May Not Cause Hip Abductor Muscle Weakness During Walking(Elsevier Ireland Ltd., 2023) APTİ, ADNAN; AKALAN, NAZİF EKİN; KUCHIMOV, SHAVKAT; Temelli, YenerPublication İsmail Gaspıralı: Tercüman Gazetesi ve 'Dilde, Fikirde Birlik' Söyleminin Yeniden Okunması(2012) Çağlayan, İnci; 108450Publication Kadının Siyasal Yaşamdaki Yeri(2009) Çağlayan, İnci; Kırlar, Safiye; 108450; 25860Publication Kazım Karabekir 'Çocuklar Ordusu'nun İletişim Bağlamında İşlevleri(2003) Çağlayan, İnci; 108450Publication Lithium monotherapy increases beta oscillatory responses in euthymic patients with bipolar disorder(2011-06) Tan, D.; Özerdem, A.; Güntekin, B.; Atagün, I.; Tülay, E.; Karadağ, F.; BAŞAR, EROLPublication Optimal Energy Consuming on Spraying an Agricultural Field by Using Multiple UAVs(Springer Science and Business Media Deutschland GmbH, 2022) GÜZEY, ALPARSLAN; Akıncı, Mehmet Mutlu; Mehmet Güzey H.Recently, agricultural areas are decreasing day by day in the face of the constantly increasing population. As a result, it is inevitable that existing production techniques are made much more efficient. In this study, starting from this point, it was aimed to spray the spraying areas of the pre-determined targets in the agricultural land of autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles in communication with each other with time minimization. For this purpose, two scenarios were compared on how to use the drones in the stations placed in all four corners of the field in the most effective way. In the first scenario, the field is divided into four equal parts in a classical way. In the second scenario, the field was divided into 2–4 regions by using the k-means method according to the areas to be sprayed. The route that the drone will use in spraying has been analyzed using the segmental method developed for the traveling salesman problem. For calculations, Julia programming language was used. Each scenario has been examined 100 times for different number of spraying sites. In light of the results obtained, it was found that the k-means method improved the flight time by an average of 19% compared to classical segmentation. In addition, with the developed method, unnecessary flight times of drones were prevented, and their useful lives were extended by finding which stations should be used the least in different situations. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.Publication Orta Okul Öğretmenlerinin Sürdürülebilir Öfke Kontrolü Eğitimlerine Duydukları İhtiyaçların Nedenleri(2018-07) Mertoğlu, Münevver; 165897Why are Anger Management Programs Essential for Secondary and High School Teachers? Because uncontrolled anger can cause negative psychological, neurological, hormonal, environmental, and sociological effects on students, school managers and teachers need to be trained in solving the problems with the students without expressing anger. Doing so will provide a role model for their students at school and their own children at home. For these reasons, anger management programs will become essential for the teachers and managers to change their attitudes to improve the students' personal development and academic success. The aim of this research is to determine the reasons for the problems occurring at schools; secondly to take recommend changes to the schools system, and thirdly to facilitate the maintenance of these changes. In this research, The Trait Anger and Anger Expression Scales are applied to the personal and professional data of the teachers and managers that participated in the research. To analyze the data the Kruskal Wallis Test and statistical measures such as mean, median, and standard deviation were used. The results indicate that in general there is no significant relationship in gender, seniority and socioeconomic status, between the teachers; however, among the 6th, 7th and 8th grade teachers there is are meaningfully higher anger test points compared to primary and high school teachers. The external anger points are significantly lower among the teachers who like their profession versus those who do not like their profession. As a result, sustainable anger management programs at schools via seminars, or training sessions can contribute to changing teachers' ideas and attitudes towards their students by providing information about the nature of adolescence, and solutions to addressing the challenges of working with adolescents.Publication Sosyal ve Kültürel Yönleriyle Beykoz'un Tarihçesi(1998) Çağlayan, İnci; 108450Publication Tarihsel Süreçte Demirköy-İğneada(T.C.
