Abstract

In this thesis Ahmet Kaya music is a means of political communication moving from the basic hypothesis. The purpose of the study is in political communication music is an effective means of political communication and to definite Ahmet Kaya music has political contents. As it is known, the most important aim of political communication to have an effect on voters to support the parties. Generally in political communication political parties and propaganda are at the forefront. But in this study it is emphasised the importance of music in political communication. So that Ahmet Kaya is the sample of the thesis. Ahmet Kaya, who has not any political parties membership and ideas but describes himself as a socialist and in his songs generally used social issuses left a crowd audience group trying to resemble him. In order to clarify our claims we studied on the role of political communication music and politics. Ahmet kaya life, musical style and political ideas. We investigated the results of the the rates of our survey.
