It is common to see arguments in social media discussions claiming that “a person is committing grammatical errors and therefore this person’s arguments should not be accepted as valid or true”. In this article, I defend that all attacking arguments based on grammatical errors are ad hominem unless the claim is particularly about the writing skills of the opponent. I also suggest using a specific Turkish name for such type of ad hominem fallacies considering that identification of subtypes makes easier to detect them. I derived this name from the phrase which is frequently used to warn and correct error makers. Moreover, I presented sample arguments, which are usually treated under this subtype but should not be considered as fallacious.en
