Abstract

The magazine named Turkish woman published in the time of second constitution was examined in this thesis.Second constitution was a time in which important developments which were important in the aspect of women movements. Turkish women?s effort of being known in the social life and getting identity brought serious developments to press world.As a consequence of these developments,women magazines came first in the projects in which women tried to make themselves known. Turkish Women magazine obligated publishing for the progress of women and started its press life.The magazine adressing to everyone without differentiating men or women caused to happen to the works containingTurkish women?s being a good wife ,a good mother and also an educated indivual who struggles for her rights in the society In our study firstly changing stages of Turkish women from period of reforms to second constitution was examined. And then some information were given about the relationship between feminisr trend with other thoughts, women organisations and women magazines In the second part, information was given about identity and figure information, content and author staff about Turkish Women magazine.In the third part it was given data of literary genre in the Turkish Women magazine.In the fourth part subjects in Turkish magazine was examined under the topic of genres.In the fifth part elective texts was handled and conclusion of the study was implied in the sixth part
