Abstract
This proceeding aims to investigate the movement on the plane of the shadow caused by Sun of a stick which is specially placed.
Hence, in this study, first shadow directions and shadow lengths were calculated fort he intervals. Following this, analytic solutions were obtained from these calculations to set up the sundial.
