Sıvılaşma Olayına Kaotik Yaklaşım

Abstract

The liquefaction phenomenon may be defined in Soil Mechanics as the behavior of a mass of fine sand in contact with the water table, being fluidized and slugging under the vibration induced by an earthquake. In the case this mass constitutes the foundation soil layer of a building, it magnifies the magnitude of the earthquake, and starting somewhat to flow may cause to overturn the construction it hears. In the paper, the theortetical and experimental aspects of the phenomenon are investigated by a chaotic appoach, through a simulation and using the well known formulation of the Fluid Dynamics.
