| dc.description.abstract | Distance to M1OO as determined by Cepheid Variable Stars Task 1; HENRIETTE LEAVIT(1912)has found formula M=-2,78 log (P)-1,35 for cepheid variable stars. By using this equation on light curves of 12 cepheid stars which are taken from Hubble Telescop- ESA/ESO at 1994 Task 2;m( max) and m(min)are taken from graphics then avarege m is calculated.Task3;M-m=5+5log(n) from Pogson Equation; JI =lid ;d is calculated in pc.(for each 12 cepheids) Task4;12 cepheids are not at same distancesTask5; calculations give the distance of the M1OO Galaxy even Milkyway is nearly 25Kpc at diameterTask6; distance is 17,1±1,8 Mpc for MlOO Galaxy Task7;tangetal velocity is v=1400km/s Ho = v/d = 1400116,702 Ho=27.18.10. 19 I second t= 11,66 .109 year is the age of the universe | en |
