Cemil Süleyman Alyanakoğlu'nun Timsal-i Aşk adlı hikaye kitabı üzerine bir inceleme

Abstract

Cemil Süleyman Alyanakoğlu who started his literary career at Fecr-i Ati period, had mentioned his name fruquently as one of the founders of Fecr-i Ati Literary movement and his stories that handle social issues with criticial approach. Cemil Süleyman Alyanakoğlu's Timsal-i Aşk has the privilige of being first book published in a library during Fecr-i Ati period. That makes the book worthier than its literary value. The subject and style of Fecr-i Ati Literary Movement can be deserved in Timsal-i Aşk. And although the book resist to the Servet-i Finun Literary, we can see lots of similarites on the examination. In the first two chapter of this study, Cemil Süleyman Alyanakoğlu's life and career are analysed. In the third chapter, the fourteen stories including Timsal-i Aşk that gives its name to the book, are examined. Key Words: Cemil Süleyman Alyanakoğlu, Fecr-i Ati
