Abstract

The cost calculating model which is generally used in our country is the model that is based on construction works . ( Bills of quantities ) As this method contains a lot of items and takes a lot of time ; An approcich of proposal has been developed for calculating the cost with minimum labour nad time. In this approach axplained in this paper; it is aimed that the construction cost calculated with consruction Works which has the highest share anda re constituted 80-85% of construction cost is roundod to the total using direct proportion. The values of construction cost which is calculated and the number of consturction works of the method proposed and the method oof bills of quantities are compared for 27 concrete framed house buildings in the sample.
