These obstacles as the hard battle in the market, restricted funds, and the delusions of the dated work methods. This project focuses on the important cross-roads of technology, namely Industry 4.0, and its role in sustainable practices within the small cosmetics industries. The research, through the adoption of tools such as the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and SWOT analysis, seeks to give viable solutions to improve productivity and competitiveness of business while also increasing sustainability. Through analyzing successful players in the cosmetics industry like Big Companies the study aims to bridge the gap between theory and practice, providing tangible solutions directly to the needs of the small magnitude cosmetics businesses. The research will develop an in-depth analysis of industry trends to support small business owners thrive and prosper in the on-going complex cosmetic industry markets.Item type:Publication, Access status: Open Access , Psikolojik Sermaye ve Duygusal Emeğin İşe Adanmışlık Üzerindeki Etkisi(İstanbul Kültür Üniversitesi, 2025) ÇAVUŞ, SENANUR; Mine TürkerBu çalışmanın amacı çalışanların psikolojik sermayelerinin ve duygusal emek davranışlarının işe adanmışlıkları üzerindeki etkileri incelemektir. Çalışmaya, 111 mağaza çalışanı ve 131 öğretmen olmak üzere toplam 242 kişi katılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre, psikolojik sermayenin ve duygusal emeğin işe adanmışlık üzerinde pozitif etkisi olduğu saptanmıştır. Yetkinlik ve pozitif beklenti işe adanmışlığı açıklarken, umutlu oluşun sadece yoğunlaşma boyutu üzerinde anlamlı bir açıklayıcılığa sahip olduğu bulunmuştur. Duygusal emeğin boyutları ile ilgili olarak, derin davranış ve samimi davranış işe adanmışlık üzerinde pozitif yönde bir etkisi varken, yüzeysel davranış boyutunun ise işe adanmışlık boyutları olan dinçlikle adanma ve yoğunlaşma üzerinde negatif bir etkisi olduğu bulunmuştur.Item type:Publication, Access status: Open Access , Cultural Hybridity in African Diasporic and Immigrant Identities in Yaa Gyasi's Homegoing and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Americanah(İstanbul Kültür Üniversitesi, 2025) KASAP, ÖZGE NUR; Ayşegül TuranThis thesis analyzes the variation of cultural identity and its flexible nature in relation to the experiences of African Americans, African natives, and African immigrants, emphasizing the evolved historical and cultural distinction between them over time such as their perceptions of racism and the significance it holds for each group. In addition to acknowledging and addressing these differences, the thesis aims to examine the ideological movement of the 2000s, Afropolitanism, which encourages the embrace of culturally hybrid identities by introducing a fresh perspective to a globalized world where cultural identity is in constant flux. In this context, Yaa Gyasi's Homegoing and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Americanah embody these arguments within their respective narratives. Yaa Gyasi's exploration of the interconnected histories of African and African American identities, formed by the impacts of colonialism and the transatlantic slave trade, provides the historical background that supports the arguments presented. Homegoing follows the pattern of these transformations in the span of seven generations through the narrative of two half-sisters: Effia, who experiences life under Western colonization in Ghana, and Esi, who suffers the brutality of slavery and its legacy in America. Framed through an Afropolitanist perspective, the novel highlights the dynamic and evolving nature of these identities across future generations, culminating in a globalized context by the novel's end. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's Americanah is the second key source for this thesis, offering an exploration of the lives of Nigerian immigrants and their efforts to balance the blending of cultures within the African diaspora, particularly in the USA. The novel examines the experiences of characters like Ifemelu, Uju, and Dike, highlighting their struggles to reconcile the traditional values of their African heritage with the contemporary influences of their new environment. Additionally, Adichie addresses the discord between African Americans and African immigrants, rooted in cultural differences that are often neglected by white American society. This thesis aims to analyze Adichie's illustration of fluid cultural identity, paralleling Gyasi's themes in Homegoing, and its connection to a wider discussion of cultural hybridity and global interrelation in Americanah.Item type:Publication, Access status: Open Access , Türk Destanlarında Güçlü Kadınlar ve Psikolojik Tipleri(İstanbul Kültür Üniversitesi, 2025) BOZOKLU, MERVE NUR; Serdar GürçayBu çalışma, Türk destanlarında bulunan güçlü kadın kahramanları ve onların psikolojik tiplerini ortaya çıkarmaktadır. türk destan geleneği içerisinde kadınlar hangi güç unusrlarıyla kendilerini göstermiş, hangi yeteneklerle ön plana çıkmış gibi sorulara yanıt vermektedir. bu kadınların farklı güç unsurlarıyla ortaya çıkan psikolojik tipleri de Jung'un kuramına göre incelenmektedir.Item type:Publication, Access status: Open Access , Mehmet Vecihi'nin Feryad İsimli Eseri (İnceleme-Metin)(İstanbul Kültür Üniversitesi, 2025) AYSEL, SEDANUR; Berna Civalıoğlu SevindikServet-i Fünun Dönemi bağımsız sanatçılarından olan Mehmet Vecihi 1869-1904 yılları arasında yaşamış bir yazardır. Döneminde çokça yazdığı roman ve hikayelerine rağmen günümüzde tanınırlığı düşüktür. Bu sebepledir ki eserleri Türk edebiyatında geniş bir inceleme alanı bulamamış ve gün yüzüne çıkarılamamıştır. Bu çalışmanın ilk bölümünde yazarın hayatı ve eserleri hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Sonraki bölümlerde ise Mehmet Vecihi'nin "Feryad" isimli eseri Latin harflerine aktarılmış ve incelenmiştir. Mehmet Vecihi eserlerinde seçtiği aşk, evlilik, aldatma gibi temalar sebebiyle döneminde ün kazanmış yazarlarımızdan biridir. Bu eserinde de aşk ve aldatma temaları üzerinde durmuş, bir evliliğin yıkılışını anlatmıştır. Aldatılmanın kadın ruhu üzerinde bıraktığı yıpratıcı etkiyi anlattığı romanda aynı zamanda Servet-i Fünun döneminde kadının toplumdaki yerini de okuyucuya göstermiştir. Uğradığı bir iftira sonucunda toplumun ahlaksız olarak addettiği bir kadının yaşamını sürdürme mücadelesini işlemiştir.
