Item type:Publication, Access status: Open Access , Genç Yetişkinlerde Anksiyete Düzeyinin Sosyal Destek Algısı Aracılığıyla Psikolojik İyi Oluş Üzerindeki Etkisi(İstanbul Kültür Üniversitesi, 2025) FIRAT, ALİ EREN; Yusuf Özay ÖzdemirBu araştırma, genç yetişkin bireylerde anksiyete düzeyinin psikolojik iyi oluş üzerindeki etkisini ve bu ilişkide algılanan sosyal desteğin aracılık rolünü incelemektedir. Araştırmaya Türkiye genelindeki üniversitelerden, 18-30 yaş aralığındaki toplam 385 genç yetişkin katılmıştır. Katılımcıların %51'i kadın (n = 195) ve %49'u erkek (n = 190) bireylerden oluşmaktadır. Katılımcılar yaş dağılımı açısından incelendiğinde, %73'ünün 18–25 yaş aralığında (n = 279), %27'sinin ise 26–30 yaş aralığında (n = 106) yer aldığı görülmektedir. Katılımcıların %23'ü daha önce psikolojik destek aldığını, %77'si ise almadığını belirtmiştir. Araştırmada veri toplamak amacıyla Demografik Bilgi Formu, Beck Anksiyete Ölçeği, Çok Boyutlu Algılanan Sosyal Destek Ölçeği (ÇBASDÖ) ve Psikolojik İyi Oluş Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Veriler SPSS programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiş; betimsel istatistiklerin yanı sıra Pearson korelasyon, çoklu regresyon ve aracı değişken analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Analiz sonucuda elde edilen bulgular, anksiyete düzeyinin psikolojik iyi oluş üzerinde anlamlı ve negatif yönlü bir yordayıcı olduğunu göstermektedir. Aynı zamanda, algılanan sosyal desteğin bu ilişkide kısmi bir aracı rol oynadığı tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, sosyal destek ile psikolojik iyi oluş arasında pozitif yönde anlamlı bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Bu çalışma, genç yetişkinlerin ruh sağlığını desteklemede sosyal desteğin önemli bir koruyucu faktör olduğunu vurgulamakta; bireysel danışmanlık süreçleri, grup temelli psikoeğitim programları ve önleyici müdahale uygulamaları için katkı sağlayabilecek nitelikte bulgular sunmaktadır.Item type:Publication, Access status: Open Access , Developing an Excel-Based Education Management System for Engineering Programs(İstanbul Kültür Üniversitesi, 2025) YASIN, HAMZA; Okay IşıkIn modern engineering education, aligning curricula with international accreditation standards (e.g., ABET, MÜDEK) requires systematic program planning, outcome assessment, and continuous improvement. However, manual processes for mapping Program Outcomes (POs) to Course Outcomes (COs) and collecting assessment data impose significant faculty burdens, often compromising consistency and traceability. This thesis proposes an automated framework to streamline accreditation processes through structured PO-CO alignment and data-driven assessment. The framework consists of three phases: (1) program planning, strategically distributing POs across the curriculum; (2) course and assessment planning, designing CO-focused evaluations; and (3) detailed assessment design, ensuring alignment with program-level expectations. An Excel-VBA tool was developed to operationalize the framework, featuring dynamic CO-PO mapping, deviation analysis, and automated reporting. This enables real-time curriculum monitoring and corrective actions while enhancing faculty collaboration. A case study at Istanbul Kültür University demonstrated the framework's effectiveness, showing improved assessment accuracy, reduced faculty workload, and better curriculum management. The study presents a practical, unified approach to program assessment, supporting accreditation compliance while fostering continuous improvement in engineering education. The framework offers a replicable model for institutions committed to outcome-based education and sustainable accreditation practices. Future work may explore integration with learning management systems, machine learning for predictive analysis, multidisciplinary applications, and optimization techniques for data-driven decision-making.Item type:Publication, Access status: Open Access , Çevrim İçi Marka Topluluklarının Marka Satın Alma Niyeti Üzerine Yansıması(İstanbul Kültür Üniversitesi, 2025) TURHAN, MUHAMMED DOĞUKAN; Gülnur IşıklarDijitalleşme ve teknolojik gelişmeler, bireylerin iletişim biçimlerini dönüştürmüş ve çevrim içi markayı markalar için stratejik bir iletişim aracı hâline getirmiştir. Çevrim içi marka platformları, tüketicilerin markalarla anlık ve çift yönlü etkileşim kurmasını mümkün kılarak geleneksel medya anlayışını geride bırakmıştır. Bu bağlamda çevrim içi marka toplulukları, tüketicilerin bir araya gelerek deneyim paylaştıkları ve markaya yönelik duygusal bağlarını güçlendirdikleri dinamik yapılar olarak öne çıkmaktadır. Bu tezde, Mercedes-Benz örneği üzerinden çevrim içi marka topluluklarının tüketici tutumları üzerindeki rolü incelenmektedir. Araştırma; güven, satın alma niyeti ve marka algısı gibi unsurlar üzerinden bu topluluklardaki rolü analiz etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Katılımı etkileyen faktörler arasında türdeşlik bilinci, ortak ritüeller ve ahlaki sorumluluklar yer almaktadır. Çalışma yalnızca Mercedes-Benz markasına odaklanmakta ve aktif çevrim içi marka topluluğu üyeleriyle sınırlı kalmaktadır. Elde edilen bulgular, çevrim içi marka topluluklarının marka yönetimi ve pazarlama stratejileri açısından kritik bir değer taşıdığını ortaya koymaktadır.Item type:Publication, Access status: Open Access , The Weight of Remembering: Cultural Trauma and Identity Formation in Toni Morrison's Song of Solomon and Ta-Nehisi Coates's the Water Dancer(İstanbul Kültür Üniversitesi, 2025) YILDIZ, DENİZ; Ayşegül TuranThis thesis examines the cultural trauma of slavery and its destructive impact on the formation of African American identities in the works of Toni Morrison's Song of Solomon and Ta-Nehisi Coates's The Water Dancer. Since the two novels are set in distinct historical periods (the Civil Rights Movement and the late antebellum America), they provide the brutal realities of slavery both as a lived experience and as an inherited trauma. They also reframe the existing historical narratives by putting forth a counter history against historical erasure. In doing so, each novel is enriched with African American cultural myths and motives incorporated with magical realism. Through this, both novels put emphasis on memory, remembering of one's heritage, and the necessity of communal engagement for the betterment of the self. In exploring these intersecting themes, this study draws on the theoretical frameworks of trauma theory, memory studies, postcolonialism and postmodernism.Item type:Publication, Access status: Open Access , The Impact of Monetary Policy Instruments on Economic Growth in Türkiye(İstanbul Kültür Üniversitesi, 2025) GAZALOĞLU, MEHMET AHMET; Deniz Dilara DereliThis study aims to analyze the impact of monetary policy c, including the discount rate, money supply, and required reserve ratio, on Türkiye's economic performance during the period from 2003 to 2024. Advanced econometric models, such as the ARDL model and causality tests, were utilized to examine the short- and long-term effects of these instruments on nominal GDP, real GDP, and inflation rates. The findings reveal that monetary policy instruments significantly influence the economy in the short term, with money supply playing a key role in driving inflation and economic growth. However, these instruments were found to have no statistically significant impact in the long term, indicating the temporary nature of their effects. The study highlights the importance of designing flexible and integrated monetary policies that account for short-term effects while aiming to promote long-term economic sustainability. It offers recommendations for policymakers to achieve economic stability and sustainable growth amid domestic and global challenges.
