Araştırmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden olgu bilim deseni, veri toplama aracı olarak görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2018-2019 öğretim yılında İzmir ilinin Urla ilçesinde görev yapan 55 okul yöneticisi oluşturmaktadır. Soruların değerlendirilmesinde içerik analizi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonunda, yöneticilerin dedikodu ve söylenti hakkındaki genel görüşleri, dedikodu ve söylentinin örgüt içindeki etkisine, dedikodu ve söylentinin sonuçlarına karşı nasıl çözüm ürettikleri ortaya konmaya çalışılmıştır.In this study, it was aimed to reveal the opinions of the administrators working in public schools regarding the gossip and rumor mechanism within the school. In the research, phenomenological design, which is one of the qualitative research designs, and interview technique as a data collection tool was used. The sample of the study made up of 55 school administrators working in the Urla district of Izmir in the 2018-2019 academic year. Content analysis technique was used for the questions.
