Two general approaches in MMAC, namely, multiple fixed models and multiple adaptive models have been reviewed and a novel method which is based on the linear combination of adaptive models with no switching is proposed. The proposed method is tested for the servo control of a DC motor. Performance of classical indirect adaptive control, MMAC methods and the proposed methodology is compared under abrupt large parameter changes.en-USadaptive controlmultiple modelsswitchingDC motoradaptif kontrolanahtarlamaDC motorubirden fazla modellerMultiple model based adaptive control of a DC motor under load changesArticle2239698000602239698000602-s2.0-139442817282-s2.0-13944281728
