It should be noticed that by giving specific values to b we obtain new characterizations of important subclasses of convex functions of complex order b.Publication Embargo A combinatorial discussion on finite dimensional Leavitt path algebras(Hacettepe Univ, Fac Sci, Hacettepe Univ, Fac Sci, Beytepe, Ankara 06800, Turkey, 2014) Esin, Songül; Güloğlu, İsmail; Kanuni, Müge; KOÇ, AYTEN; 112205; 145213Any finite dimensional semisimple algebra A over a field K is isomorphic to a direct sum of finite dimensional full matrix rings over suitable division rings. We shall consider the direct sum of finite dimensional full matrix rings over a field K. All such finite dimensional semisimple algebras arise as finite dimensional Leavitt path algebras. For this specific finite dimensional semisimple algebra A over a field K, we define a uniquely determined specific graph - called a truncated tree associated with A - whose Leavitt path algebra is isomorphic to A. We define an algebraic invariant kappa(A) for A and count the number of isomorphism classes of Leavitt path algebras with the same fixed value of kappa(A). Moreover, we find the maximum and the minimum K-dimensions of the Leavitt path algebras. of possible trees with a given number of vertices and we also determine the number of distinct Leavitt path algebras of line graphs with a given number of vertices.Publication Metadata only A combinatorial discussion on finite dimensional leavitt path algebras(2012) Esin, Songül; Güloğlu, İsmail; Kanuni, Müge; KOÇ, AYTEN; 112205; 145213Publication Metadata only A microsoft visual Basic software for B-Spline solution of the one-dimensional heat equation(2008) Çağlar, Hatice Nazan; Çağlar, Süleyman Hikmet; Özer, Mehmet; CUHACI, LEVENT; 110809; 114368; 2509; 112369Publication Metadata only A new hybrid nonlinear congruential number generator based on higher functional power of logistic maps(PERGAMON-ELSEVIER SCIENCE LTD, THE BOULEVARD, LANGFORD LANE, KIDLINGTON, OXFORD OX5 1GB, ENGLAND, 2009-10-30) Çeçen, Songül; Demirer, R. Murat; Bayrak, Coşkun; TR141152We propose a nonlinear congruential pseudorandom number generator consisting Of summation of higher order composition of random logistic maps under certain congruential mappings. We change both bifurcation parameters of logistic maps in the interval of U = [3.5599,4) and coefficients of the polynomials in each higher order composition of terms Lip to degree d. This helped us to obtain a perfect random decorrelated generator which is infinite and aperiodic. It is observed from the simulation results that our new PRNG has good uniformity and power spectrum properties with very flat white noise characteristics. The results are interesting, new and may have applications in cryptography and in Monte Carlo simulations. Optimization of the sailing speed decreases the fuel cost because it is proportional to the sailing speed. In this study, the present fuel consumption formula has been improved by finding a formula that shows the change of the displacement of the ship according to the time.Publication Metadata only A non polynomial spline solution of the one-dimensional wave equation subject to an integral conservation condition(2010) Çağlar, Hatice Nazan; Çağlar, Süleyman Hikmet; Yılmaz, Serhat; İşeri, Müge; 110809; 114368Hyperbolic partial differential equations with an integral condition serve as models in many branches of physics and technology. Recently, much attention has been expended in studying these equations and there has been a considerable mathematical interest in them. In this work, the solution of the one-dimensional nonlocal hyperbolic equation is presented by the method of non-polynomial cubic splines. Numerical results reveal that present method based on non-polynomial spline is implemented and effective.Publication Metadata only A Note On A Problem Of Abramovich, Aliprantis And Burkinshaw(Springer, Van Godewijckstraat 30, 3311 Gz Dordrecht, Netherlands, 2011-09) Çağlar, Mert; Mısırlıoğlu, Remzi Tunç; TR108339; TR108824Let B and T be two positive operators on a Banach lattice such that B is compact-friendly and T is locally quasi-nilpotent. Introducing the concept of positive quasi-similarity, we prove that T has a non-trivial closed invariant subspace provided B is positively quasi-similar to T. This gives an affirmative answer to a problem of Abramovich, Aliprantis and Burkinshaw with the commutativity condition replaced by the positive quasi-similarity of the corresponding operators. The notion of strong compact-friendliness is also introduced and relevant facts about it are discussed.Publication Open Access A note on certain analytic functions(International Short Joint Research Workshop, Study on Calculus Operators in Univalent Function Theory, 2007, Research Institute for Mathematical Sciences, Kyoto University (RIMS), Kyoto, Japan, 2007) Nunokawa, M.; Owa, Shigeyoshi; POLATOĞLU, YAŞAR; 199370Publication Metadata only A numerical method for calculation of the equivalence volume in potentiometric titrations(1988-02) Çağlar, Süleyman Hikmet; Bozdoğan, Abdürrezzak Emin; Çağal, Behiç; 114368; 11739Publication Metadata only A representation of cyclically compact operators on Kaplansky-Hilbert modules(Springer Basel Ag, Picassoplatz 4, Basel, 4052, Switzerland, 2016-01) GÖNÜLLÜ, UĞUR; 114392We give a representation of cyclically compact self-adjoint operators on Kaplansky-Hilbert modules and characterize the global eigenvalues of such operators by a sequence consisting of their global eigenvalues taken in the corresponding representation.Publication Metadata only A solution to a problem of Abramovich Aliprantis and Burkinshaw(2007) Mısırlıoğlu, Remzi Tunç; 108824Publication Embargo A spectroscopic atlas of Deneb (A2 lae) lambda lambda 3826-5212(E D P SCIENCES, 7, AVE DU HOGGAR, PARC D ACTIVITES COURTABOEUF, BP 112, F-91944 LES ULIS CEDEXA, FRANCE, 2003-03) Albayrak, B.; Gulliver, A. E.; Adelman, S. J.; Aydin, C.; Koçer, DursunWe present a spectroscopic atlas of Deneb (A2 Iae) obtained with the long camera of the 1.22-m telescope of the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory using Reticon and CCD detectors. Forlambdalambda3826-5212 the inverse dispersion is 2.4 Angstrom mm(-1) with a resolution of 0.072 Angstrom. At the continuum the mean signal-to-noise ratio is 1030. The wavelengths in the laboratory frame, the equivalent widths, and the identifications of the various spectral features are given. This atlas should provide useful guidance for studies of other stars with similar spectral types. We executed a mapping study to cluster the software architecture recovery research papers. Papers published since 2000 have been used for this study. The following databases were investigated: Wiley, IEEE, ACM, Science Direct. Our search accessed 250 papers, but after in-depth analysis, 60 papers were found to be related to the software architecture recovery area. Our study shows that there exist many architecture recovery approaches in the literature, with machine learning-based techniques dominating the field. On the basis of this study, we suggest researchers develop more model centric software architecture recovery approaches because of model driven development’s popularity in software engineering field.Publication Metadata only An investigation of the certain class of multivalent harmonic mappings(2016) Özkan Uçar, Hatice Esra; Aydoğan, Seher Melike; POLATOĞLU, YAŞAR; 199370; 35549The main purpose of the present paper is to investigate some properties of the certain class of sense-preserving p-valent harmonic mappings in the open unit disc D = {z is an element of C parallel to z vertical bar < 1}.
