Publication Embargo A comparative performance analyze model and supplier positioning in performance maps for supplier selection and evaluation(Elsevier Science Bv, Sara Burgerhartstraat 25, Po Box 211, 1000 AE Amsterdam, Netherlands, 2012) Bilişik, Mutlu Emir; Çağlar, Hatice Nazan; Alp Bilişik, Özge Nalan; 110809In supply chain, supplier has an important role and in this situation supplier evaluation and selection is gained more significance for companies. So that, it is purposed to improve an evaluation model to evaluate and select suppliers more effectively by correlate with company's supply chain. For that reason, a form is designing to collect data from concerned company's personnel and performance measuring model which includes scoring methodology and correlation analysis that is called as "Performance-Effect" analysis in this study. With this model, it is proposed to divest supplier evaluation from its general evaluation concept by presenting alternative selection criteria, suppliers and methods for working with positioning of these in performance maps.Publication Metadata only A microsoft visual Basic software for B-Spline solution of the one-dimensional heat equation(2008) Çağlar, Hatice Nazan; Çağlar, Süleyman Hikmet; Özer, Mehmet; CUHACI, LEVENT; 110809; 114368; 2509; 112369Publication Metadata only A non polynomial spline solution of the one-dimensional wave equation subject to an integral conservation condition(2010) Çağlar, Hatice Nazan; Çağlar, Süleyman Hikmet; Yılmaz, Serhat; İşeri, Müge; 110809; 114368Hyperbolic partial differential equations with an integral condition serve as models in many branches of physics and technology. Recently, much attention has been expended in studying these equations and there has been a considerable mathematical interest in them. In this work, the solution of the one-dimensional nonlocal hyperbolic equation is presented by the method of non-polynomial cubic splines. Numerical results reveal that present method based on non-polynomial spline is implemented and effective.Publication Metadata only B-Spline Solution and the Chaotic Dynamicsof Troesch’s Problem(2013) Çağlar, Süleyman Hikmet; Çağlar, Hatice Nazan; Özer, Mehmet; 114368; 110809; 2509Publication Metadata only B-Spline Solution for a Convection-Diusion Equation(2013) Çağlar, Süleyman Hikmet; Çağlar, Hatice Nazan; Özer, Mehmet; 114368; 110809; 2509Publication Open Access B-Spline solution of linear hyperbolic partial differential equations(2011) Çağlar, Hatice Nazan; Çağlar, Süleyman Hikmet; Dündar, Durmuş; 110809; 114368Second-order linear hyperbolic equations are solved by using B-spline method . The numerical solution of the equations are discussed and illustrated with an example. Numerical results reveal that B-spline method is implemented and effective.Publication Metadata only B-Spline solution of linear hyperbolic partial differential equations(2010) Çağlar, Hatice Nazan; Çağlar, Süleyman Hikmet; 110809; 114368Publication Metadata only Fifth-degree B-spline solution for nonlinear fourth-orderproblems with separated boundary conditions(2007) Çağlar, Hatice Nazan; Çağlar, Süleyman Hikmet; Özer, Mehmet; 110809; 114368; 2509Publication Metadata only Fifth-degree B-spline solution for nonlinear fourth-orderproblems with separated boundary conditions(2007) Çağlar, Hatice Nazan; Çağlar, Süleyman Hikmet; Özer, Mehmet; 110809; 114368; 2509Publication Metadata only Non-Polynomial Spline Method for Fractional Diffusion Equation(Eudoxus Press, Llc, 1424 Beaver Trail Drive, Cordova, Tn 38016 Usa, 2012-11) Çağlar, Süleyman Hikmet; Çağlar, Hatice Nazan; Uçar, Mehmet Fatih; Akkoyunlu, Canan; TR110809; TR114368; TR107148; TR113376The one-dimensional fractional diffusion equation is studied systematically using the non-polynomial spline method. The Caputo fractional derivative is used for formulation. An example is solved to assess the accuracy of the method. The numerical results are obtained for different values (n) of equation. An effective and easy-to-use method for solving such equations is needed.Publication Metadata only SBIBD’xxların Bazı Uygulamaları (Atama Problemlerinde kullanımı için bir öneri)(2001) Balkanay, Erol; Çağlar, Hatice Nazan; 10199; 110809Publication Metadata only The Augmented Gravity Model Approach with Multi-Dimensional Panel Data: An Analysis of APEC Countries(2018-11) Türküz, Elanur; Çağlar, Hatice Nazan; 239469; 110809The Asia - Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) represents a potentially large-scale trade area and has achieved a high level of financial development since its formation in 1989. When APEC was first established its main objectives where to enhance the positive gains, both for the region and the world economy by encouraging the flow of goods, services, capital and technology and reducing barriers to trade among participants. There has been a vast literature using gravity type models to analyze economic phenomena related to international trade nonetheless there has been limited empirical work conducted on APEC. The traditional gravity model of international trade is a relatively new model that explains the bilateral trade flows based on the economic size and geographical distance between countries. This paper investigates a more enhanced panel data approach by using an augmented panel gravity model of the APEC countries by allowing for both indiviual and time effects to be apparent in order to capture time invariant country specific effects with a multidimensional panel data model.Publication Metadata only The Numerical Solution of Fractional Diusion Equation by Using Local Polynomial Regression(2013) Çağlar, Süleyman Hikmet; Çağlar, Hatice Nazan; Özer, Mehmet; 114368; 110809; 2509Publication Open Access The numerical solution of the singular two-point boundary value problems by using non-polynomial spline functions(2010) Çağlar, Hatice Nazan; Çağlar, Süleyman Hikmet; Dündar, Durmuş; Akkoyunlu, Canan; 110809; 114368; 113376The non-polynomial spline method is proposed to solve a singular boundary value problems. Some model problems are solved and the numerical results are compared with B-spline approximation and the exact solution. Results obtained by the method indicate the method is simple and effective.Publication Open Access Third-Degree B-spline solution for a nonlinear diffusion Fisher’xxs equation(2011) Çağlar, Hatice Nazan; Çağlar, Süleyman Hikmet; İşeri, Müge; 110809; 114368Non-linear Fisher’s equations are solved by using a spline method based on B-spline in the space direction and finite difference schema in the time direction.
